Ruth S. Pierce, CPA, CVA, FCPA

    Ruth S. Pierce is President and CEO of Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPAs. An industry pro with more than three decades of experience in accounting. Ruth is known by her peers, clients and staff as an exceptional talent. Her unique management style fosters creative business solutions and client focused service.
     Prior to founding Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPAs, Ruth completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Idaho and went on to become a partner in Cooper Norman & Company.  She founded Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPAs on February 1, 2000 .
     Ruth has extensive practical experience in agricultural, construction, medical, litigation support, pensions, investments, estate and small business services.  Her one of a kind management style fosters unbridled client support and passionate community involvement.  She is currently involved in Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization, College of Southern Idaho Foundation Board , Times News Editorial Board and Business Plus Executive Board   .  She has been the recipient of the Magic Valley Business Woman of the Year award and in 2007 received the Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement award.
 
 
 
 
Tara Grover
Office Manager

    Tara Grover, our Office Manager, plays a vital role in the Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPAs office. Her close attention to detail and wonderful ability to build lasting relationships with clients, fellow staff, and members in the community make her a great asset to our firm.
    A graduate of the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Leadership program, Tara puts her talents to good use as she keeps our office running smoothly by handling all administrative tasks.  She also handles client billing and collection, using all her employment experience in the financial area. 
     Tara is always ready to help answer any questions that might arise from the clients and associates, and does a great job to keep the morale level of the office high. She aims to keep the office running smoothly, and keeps track of the office’s effectiveness by creating and processing weekly and monthly statistics.
     In her time outside of the office, Tara loves spending quality time with her family, and she also enjoys spending time outdoors.
 
 
 
Becky LaManna
Bookkeeper

    With over 13 years of bookkeeping experience Becky brings exceptional talent to the firm.  Her attention for detail and accuracy and is a great asset.  She can look at the big picture and get all of the pieces into place.  Prior to coming to Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPAs Becky was employed by Travelers Oasis and Canyon Crest in their Bookkeeping departments.  She was involved in over seeing other bookkeepers, fraud investigations, working in the QuickBooks Enterprise software, payroll, preparing financial statements, audits and handling multiple companies.  She is currently working on completing the QuickBooks certification program.
     She enjoys spending time with her husband and son.  She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, being involved in the community and when time allows, scuba diving.

    Ashley has been involved in the Accounting & Finance business for the last 5 years and is very familiar with the processes and procedures of an accounting firm.  She will continue to give you the same level of service that you are used to when you call in or stop by our office.
    She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. 

  

 

 
Jill Trowell
Marketing Director

    Jill is the Marketing Director and provides valuable creativity and expertise to our advertising and also our practice development.  She is involved in creating a marketing plan and implementing it.  She works with our clients and many valuable referral sources to maintain a quality relationship. 
    She is community minded and enjoys being involved in community events.  She recently chaired the marketing committee for the Twin Falls Air Magic Valley Air show.  She is currently involved in Rotary and the Twin Falls High School Finance Academy.  She is a past-president of the Board of Directors for Historic Downtown Twin Falls.  She is a graduate of Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Leadership program, which she also served as co-chair for.  She also co-chaired the Magic Valley Student Leadership.  She graduated from Ricks College with an Associates degree in Floral Design & Management and a two year certificate in Landscape Design.

     She enjoys spending quality time with her two boys.  She also likes to read and especially loves to go camping.
